Acceptance

By using HiveStyle at hivestyle.hive-secure.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What HiveStyle provides

HiveStyle is an AI-powered outfit-generation service that offers a limited free-trial mode and an optional direct-key mode. It is provided as-is, without warranties of fitness for any particular purpose. Outfit suggestions are generated by third-party AI models and may not be accurate, practical, or appropriate for all users. Service availability is not guaranteed.

The two modes

HiveStyle runs in two modes. Your responsibilities differ between them.

Free trial mode

• No personal API keys are required to use the free trial.
• The free trial is currently limited to 10 free outfit sessions per device/browser identity. The current allowance is shown in the app.
• Allowance may change at any time. The HiveStyle server is the source of truth for the current count. HiveStyle does not guarantee that the current allowance will remain permanent.
• One full generation request for 2–4 outfit combinations normally consumes one free session once accepted for generation, regardless of how many requested outfits are successfully produced.
• Per-outfit Retry on an existing result does not currently consume an additional free session. Retry is intended to repair an already-started session, not to start a new one.
• Allowance, retry rules, and per-generation accounting may change as HiveStyle evolves.
• Attempts to bypass the allowance, abuse the service, or otherwise operate the trial in bad faith are prohibited. HiveStyle may restrict or disable trial access on any fingerprint that is being abused or that has reached the published limit.
• Service availability is not guaranteed. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party provider outages, capacity issues, or policy changes from the underlying AI providers.
• The Pro plan is not available until launched. Pricing shown on the landing page reflects the upcoming paid tier and is not currently purchasable.

Direct-key mode (Advanced Users)

• You supply your own Google Gemini and OpenAI API keys and keep them in your browser's local storage.
• You are responsible for all costs, quotas, and usage incurred on your provider accounts under those keys.
• HiveStyle is designed so that your API keys remain in your browser during Direct-Key Mode and are not intentionally transmitted to HiveStyle servers.
• You must comply with Google's and OpenAI's applicable terms when using their APIs through HiveStyle.

Your responsibilities (both modes)

• You must only upload images of clothing you own or have the right to photograph.
• You must not use HiveStyle to process images of other people without their consent.
• You must not attempt to circumvent, abuse, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
• You must comply with the terms of service of Google and OpenAI when using their APIs through HiveStyle.

AI output disclaimer

Outfit suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence. They are not personalised styling advice. Results may be inconsistent, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Hive-Secure accepts no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated output. See the AI Output Disclaimer for the full statement.

Intellectual property

The HiveStyle name, logo, and application code are owned by Hive-Secure. Generated images are produced by OpenAI's image-generation models; rights to those images are governed by OpenAI's terms of service.

Provider terms

Your use of HiveStyle involves third-party providers whose own terms apply:

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hive-Secure is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of HiveStyle, including API costs incurred through your own keys, third-party provider outages, or the inaccuracy of AI-generated output.

Changes

These terms may be updated as HiveStyle evolves, including when plans, limits, providers, or features change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
